OBITUARY: The Winona Times, Montgomery County Mississippi, May 1, 2008: Funeral services for David Park Haddon of Carrollton were held Friday, April 25, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Williams and Lord Chapel with Rev, Gary Tanner officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton . Williams and Lord Funeral Home of Greenwood was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Haddon, 66, died Tuesday April 22, 2008,a t his residence near Carrollton of a stroke. Retired from Viking Range Company, he was born in Greenwood and resided in Greenwood and Carroll County all his life. He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and was a director of the Carroll County Council of Conservative Citizens where he serves as co-chairman of the Carroll County Cooking Team. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Beckwith Haddon, his brother Charles Robert Haddon; and his parents J.W. Haddon and Lucille Bennett Haddon.

He is survived by his son, David Park Haddon, Jr. and two grandchildren.
