The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mr. Alford was of the Baptist faith, was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and was employed with Fraser Plumbing of High Point.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda F. Alford of the home; daughter, Anita Cassar of Lexington; son, Daryl Alford of Norfolk, Va.; sisters, Izzy Parrott of Florence, S.C., Vinn Jordan of Tabor City, S.C., Lynn Lockhart and Carolyn Nobles of Aynor, S.C.; and five grandchildren.
