Mr. John T. Heath son of the late Thomas and Florie Heath, was born in Fairfield County in Winnsboro, South Carolina on January 10, 1926. He departed his life on January 12, 2009. He was married to Mrs. Mary E. McMillian Heath for 62 years.

Mr. Heath moved to the Tatetown Community from Queens, New York. He attended Williams Chapel Church then became a member of Adoram Baptist Church. Later he moved his membership back to Williams Chapel Church were he fondly served as a Deacon until his health began to decline.

He attended school in the local school system in South Carolina. He was later employed as a warehouseman by the United States Rubber Company in Winnsboro, South Carolina. After working there he joined the U. S. Army where he served Our Country until his Honorable Discharge on June 13, 1946.

He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memories; His wife, Mary E. Heath, of the home, two daughters; Barbara and Carol; One special daughter, Toni, one son William,one special sons, Tony; three sisters, Helen, Queen, and Gerturde; four brothers; Charles, Spencer, Fay and Dr. Harris all of South Carolina.

Two brothers preceded him in death, William Edward Heath (Known as Jack) and Earl Turner Heath and one grandson Lenell (Lenny) Heath.
