Dorothy M. Mnich, passed away Monday at Iroquois Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse on December 3, 1927, and her parents were Gladys Hall Kelton and Peter Bugnacki. She was retired from Leo's Big M after 30 years of service. She was predeceased by her husband, Chester and her parents. Mrs. Mnich is survived by her son, Chester (Denise) Mnich of Cicero; daughters, Judy (Donald) Haag of East Syracuse, Saundra Mnich of Liverpool; a brother, Robert Kelton of Cicero; sisters, Marion (William) Farrell of Cicero, Joyce (Dick) Zender of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a new one on the way in May; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
