Funeral - was at 1 pm at Shannon North Funeral Chapel. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Margie Beryl Cruse Halbert was born Dec. 25, 1913, in Reno and was a long-time resident of Fort Worth. After working at Monning's Department Store, she left her job to work in the home. Her passion and commitment belonged to her family. She had been a member of North Fort Worth Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Survivors: Husband of 57 years, Cecil Halbert of Fort Worth; Daughter Nancy Parks and her husband, Randall of Cairo, Egypt; brothers, Jack Cruse of Lake Worth and Joe Cruse of Haltom City; sister, Hattie Green of Temple, Okla; Granddaughter, Jennifer Parks of Cairo; Grandson, Jeffery Parks of Cairo; and numerous well-loved nieces and nephews.
