Russell A. Hamlin, Employee of I-R

Russell A. Hamlin, 46, of 321 Warren St., Phillipsburg, died yesterday in Warren Hospital where he was admitted June 27.

Mr. Hamlin was employed as a tool maker and grinder in the Cameron Division of the Ingersoll-Rand Co. for 23 years.

Born in Raubsville, he was a son of Russell C. Hamlin of Phillipsburg and the late Estelle Smith Hamlin.

He was a vetran of World War II. He served in the Air Force.

Mr. Hamlin was a member of the Lincoln Fire Co., Bernardine-May Post, American Legion, Phillispburg; New Jersey Civil Defense Corps and Greenwich Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his widow, the former Hazel Thorpe; a son and a daughter, both at home; four sisters; and three brothers. A twin brother, John, died before him.
