Virginia Catherine Tharpe Snoots was born in Front Royal, Warren County, Virginia on 20 January 1911, the eldest child of Robert Fentley Tharpe (of Front Royal, VA) and Mary Belle Weatherholtz (of Kimball, VA). She and her parents and siblings moved to Charles Town, WV when she was a child.
Virginia is survived by one son, Robert W. Snoots of Frederick, and one niece, Bonnie Bunch.
She was predeceased by her husband, Marshall William Snoots, one sister, Orene Tharpe Fauver, and one brother, Robert Elmo Tharpe. (bio by Judy)
