Mr. Emrick was the Oklahoma City Police Chief from 13 Apr 1903 - 4 Apr 1905. He was born in Warren County, IL; was a highly respected business man, who came to the city from Wichita, KS; and participated in the run of '89. Previous to being elected chief of police on 7 Apr 1903, he successfully operated the Emrick Transfer Company for 12 years.
