Obituary:
"Ralph Walter Clarke, 74, of 3305 E. J St.,
died Thursday at his home. He was born in
Clearwater, Iowa, and had lived in Tacoma 16 years.
He was a retired station agent for the Northern
Pacific Railway and was a member of Calvary
Presbyterian Church and the Telegrapher's Union.
Surviving are his wife, Mary V., of the home;
three sons, Kenneth W., of Bowling Green, Ky.,
Robert, of Seattle, and Wilbur, of Astoria, Ore.;
three daughters, Mrs. Merle Hopkins, of Erie, Pa.,
Mrs. Gene Henderson, of Big Pine Key, Fla., and Mrs.
Quentin Brown, of Quincey; a brother, Asa, of Kooskia,
Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Neuman, of Portland,
Ore., and Mrs. Edward Summers, of St. Paul, Minn;
19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services are being arranged by Hill Funeral
Home, Puyallup."
