Oran Radean Armes was born July 10, 1931, at Kingston, Arkansas and passed away Jan. 1, 1949 in Glendale, Ariz. Memorial services were held there January 5th in Glendale and final services held Sunday, Jan. 9, with interment in the Alabam Cemetery. He was converted at the age ot twelve and entered the Southern Missionary Baptist Church at Sanger, Calif., and at sixteen he moved his membership to Glendale, Ariz.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Armes; three brothers, Doyle, of Sanger, Calif.; Noel, of Huntsville; and Cleebert of the home; two sisters, Velma White, of Avenal, Calif., and Dorothy Browley of Sanger, Calif.; another brother, Dwight, preceded him in death.

At the age of four Radean moved with his parents to Huntsville where he entered the Harmony school. The family then moved to Sanger, Calif. when he was twelve, where he completed grade school, later going to Glendale, Ariz., where he entered high school. At he time of his death he was employed in a machine shop at Phoenix, Ariz. Radean made many friends every place he lived, who join with his relatives in mourning his untimely death. He was killed in a plane crash near Glendale on Jan. 1, 1949.
