Steven was retired from the Air Force where he served in Desert Shield and Desert Strom, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Gravel Ridge, he loved the outdoors; golf, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Reynolds Cupps, son; Robert Olen Cupps and wife, Jennifer of Cabot, daughter; Rebecca Ann Cupps and fiancé Doug Trantham of Sherwood, granddaughter; Annabelle Grace Cupps, three brothers; Lindley R. Cupps of Nacogdoches, Texas, Samuel D. Cupps of Springdale, Arkansas, and Warren E. Cupps of Jacksonville, Florida.
