Hazel J. (Gilliatt) Enlow, 85, Taswell, died Thursday, Oct. 4th, at Todd Dickey Medical Center in Leavenworth. A native of Orange County, born Aug. 18th, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Rachael (Taylor) Gilliatt. She was a retired employee of Purdue University Extension Service and a member of Fairview General Baptist Church near Taswell. She was preceded in death by her husand, Guy Enlow, a son, Carroll Enlow, and a brother, Odis Gilliatt. Survivors include a son, Terry Enlow of Marengo; a daughter, Judy Atkins of Taswell; a brother, Oral Gilliatt of New Albany; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The funeral was Saturday at Fairview General Baptist Church near Taswell with burial in the Church cemetery. The Rev. Novy Newkirk officiated. Pall bearers were James Enlow, David Atkins, Garrel Carr, Charles Jellison, Curtis Bowles and Robert Staten.
