Skip Krueger was a graduate of Dennis Yarmouth High School and UMass Lowell. He served in the army during the Vietnam War and was a safety consultant for Wausau Insurance Co. for many years. He was a member of the West Dennis Yacht Club and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He enjoyed sailing, skiing and traveling.
