Robert, the son of the late Virginia and Charles Wilkins, attended Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, Fryeburg Academy, Cape Cod Community College, Boston State College and the University of Miami. He lived most of his life on Cape Cod where he worked in the construction industry and was an active member of his community.
Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He served two tours in Vietnam, was a recipient of two Purple Hearts and numerous other distinguished service medals. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, sailing, traveling, music, cooking, Florida in the winter, and spending time with friends and family, most especially his nieces and nephews.
