William "Lyle" Heselden was married to Orpha Smith, February 19, 1932 in Galesburg, IL. He died right before the birth of their daughter, Florence Marie. Orpha, also on Find A Grave, Memorial Park, Galesburg, Illinois, died two years later, leaving a two year old daughter to be raised by her grandparents, Jessie and Otis Smith, both on Find A Grave (Memorial Park, Galesburg, Illinois). He was called to serve July 15, 1918 at Galesburg, Illinois during WWI. Honorably discharged at Camp Grant, January 5, 1919.
Son of Samuel Heselden and Josephine Bennell. Sisters Anna Heselden , Bessie Heselden, and Mary Fern Palmquist are buried in the same cemetery.
