Robert B. "Bob" Carle, 79, of LaFayette, passed away Tuesday at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Fred E. and Alice (Park) Carle. He was a fleet service crew chief for American Airlines retiring after 40 years and he also retired from Becs Clock Shop. His passion was woodworking, fixing clocks, and gardening. Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth Kobes Carle; daughter, Heidemarie Carle of Vallejo, CA; son, Robert Frederick (Margaret) Carle of Albany; grandson, Theodore Pachmann Carle; sister, Helen Connelly Howe of New Jersey; brothers, Fred E. Jr. (Pat) Carle of Florida, George (Joan) Carle of Oklahoma and Rev. Joseph (Becky) Carle of Missouri; many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours or services. Private burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery in the spring. Contributions may be made to , PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005. Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, LaFayette has been entrusted with arrangements.
