Katherine De Maria, 93, of Cortlandt Manor, died October 4, 2002 at her home on Hemlock Hill Farm. She was born on April 16, 1909 in Yorktown Heights to Augustino and Carmella Siriani Guss. She attended Yorktown Schools and the Peekskill Business School. She and her husband, the late Nicholas J. De Maria owned and operated the Hemlock Hill Farm since 1937.
Katherine will be remembered by family and friends as a charismatic woman with a strong spirit. So many lives were touched by her patient mentoring and inspirational zest for life.
