Georgina was the fourth of nine children. She lived on the Hobbema Reserve and she was a member of the Enoch Cree Nation.

Various siblings were placed in foster care and sent to residential school in Hobbema, but they were all eventually placed in the same foster home. Georgina ran away at 12 after being abused in care and at age 14 she was living in Las Vegas. Her first child was born there and stayed with her grandparents in Las Vegas when Georgina moved to Vancouver.

Georgina more children - three boys, and three more girls, the youngest of which were twin girls born a year before she went missing.

Her family last heard from her in March 1999. She was last seen being dropped off at the Aboriginal Friendship Centre on Hastings Street.

Georgina was a talented traditional dancer and beader. She attended powwows and made crafts. She volunteered with the Native Sisterhood Association, bringing women back in touch with their traditions.

Her remains were found on the Pickton farm and Robert Pickton was convicted of second-degree murder in her death.
