Born in Topeka, KS, "Nellie" came to California with her Mother & siblings when she was about 6 yrs. She met & married Jack Trujillo in the mid-20's. She had 8 children, 7 survived and were each devoted to her all her life. After all her children were in school she became a volunteer at Queen of the Valley Hospital, and eventually managed the Hospital thrift shop "The Treasure Chest" for over 15 years. She was a loving, caring and heroic Mother, GrandMother and GreatGrandMother to her very large family until her final days, at age 86. She was preceded in death by her her husband of 67 years, Jack Trujillo. She was survived by her 7 adult children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great granddaughters.
