Tech. Sgt. Daniel L. Douville, 33, of Harvey, La., died June 26 as a result of injuries suffered from an improvised explosive device on the border of the Nad 'Ali district of Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 96th Civil Engineer Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Loving husband of 14 years to LaShana Douville. Father of Jadelynn, Ayjah-Danielle and Daniel (Deuce) Douville. Son of Gertrude and Rev. Joseph Hampton and Daniel Washington. Brother of Tyranique (Chris) Mason, Dominique (Aaron) Evans, Monique (Jabar) Louper, Joseph Hampton and Marquice Videau. Grandson of Roselee Douville, Castana Washington, Delores Rouselle and the late Leon Douville and Rev. George Washington, Sr. Son-in-law of John Chaisson and Amelia Chaisson. Brother-in-law of John Chaisson III and Tanika Pritchett. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
