Adeline Anna Hass, 95, Merrill, passed away Feb 28, 2011 under the care of Ministry Care and Hospice Services at Pine Crest Nursing Home.
Adeline was born on July 12, 1915 in the Town of Scott to the late Edwin and Ida (Paque) Schulz. Adeline was one of five children. Adeline married Arthur C Hass on June 22, 1935.
Adeline worked at City View Nursing Home, Gatterman Chicken Farm and Dick's Riverside Club in the earlier years of her married life. Later on, she was a homemaker who enjoyed embroidery, baking and cooking for her family, along with visits from all of her grandchildren and the many family get togethers. After their retirement, Adeline and Arthur enjoyed many years of traveling to Arizona. Her children will always remember Adeline with love.
Survivors include her sister, Wilma Karau; Children, Joyce (Jack) Freitag, Sun Prairie, Grace (Donald) Wood, Wausau, Alice (Tom) Freitag, Sun Prairie, James (Tony) Hass, Andersonville, TN; Lee (Richard) Schultz, Weston, Jan (Michael) Nissen, Merrill, Henry (JoAnn) Hass, Merrill, Patsy (Roger) Plautz, Merrill; 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Her husband Arthur, son Walter in 1949, and her brothers Wilbur, Marvin and Edward preceded her in death.
Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society assisted the family with arrangements. Visitation was at Pine Crest Nursing Home on March 4 with a service by Hospice Chaplain. Private Burial Services will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Merrill, on March 18.
