Mrs Emma Hackbarth, 95, 205 S 8th Ave, Wausau, died on Thursday evening March 1, 1979 at a Wausau Hospital.
The former Emma Imm was born on April 21, 1883, in the Town of Maine, Marathon County the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Herman Imm. She married Emil Hackbarth on April 20, 1912 in the Town of Maine. He died on May 17, 1961.
Survivors include her daughter Esther Hackbarth of Wausau; two sons Harold of Quincy, IL and Raymond of Manitowoc; a sister Mrs Esther Haakenson, Los Angeles, CA; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday March 5, 1979 at the Helke West Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Herbert Praeuner of Trinty Lutheran Church officiated and burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
