Viola E Zastrow, 79, 502 West St., Wausau, died Thursday, Nov 21, 1996 at her home.
Viola was born Sept. 19, 1917, in the town of Maine, to Frank and Augusta (Imm) Saeger. She married Raymond Zastrow on Sept. 19, 1936, at Grace Lutheran Church, town of Maine. Raymond died June 19, 1992.
Viola enjoyed gardening, playing cards and weaving rugs but most especially loved being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet (Vernon) Hohn and Shirley (Arlan) Erickson, all of Wausau; three granddaughters, Wendy (Tom)Kreimer, Falcon Heights, MN, Rhonda (Chris) Kielman, Schofield, and Gina Erickson, Wausau; three grandsons, Jeff (Heidi) Hohn, and their sons, Lucas, Gary (Cynthia) Hohn and their son Mitchell, and Chad Erickson, all of Wausau; and a sister Hilda (Herman) Kniess, Wausau. She was preceded in death by her husband; four sisters, Selma Saeger, Ella Schulz, Lydia Schulz and Nina Schmidt; and a brother Walter Saeger.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Monday, Nov 25, 1996, at Trinity Lutheran Church- LCMS, Wausau. Rev Gary G Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, town of Maine. Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Kraemer Funeral Home of Wausau, and again from 10 am Monday until the time of services at the church.
