Zola “Kitty” Vandall, 75, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Wednesday March 18, 2015 at her home following a long illness.

Born September 15, 1939 at Ramp she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Leona Richmond Boone. She was a member of the Hinton Church of Christ, a former employee of Hinton Hospital where she worked in the business office she then worked for the WV State Police Hinton Detachment until her retirement with 20 years of service. Kitty enjoyed crocheting and made each member of her family a keepsake which they will always treasure.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dallas “Red” Vandall; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Vandall and her sister-in-law, Mae Burgess.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, Jerry Lee Vandall of Elk Knob, Donna Ann Wheeler of Lindside and Sherri Lynn Weikle of Greenville; two grandchildren, Heather Noel Weikle of Greenville and Chad Weikle of Fairlea; her siblings, Willard Boone and wife Vivian of Forest Hill, Mary Jones and husband Frank of Hillsville, VA, Ellison “Bubby” Boone and wife Linda of Judson, Elsie Williams and husband Alonzo of Judson and Goldie Folds of Hinton; sister-in-law, Minnie Vandall of Bellepoint; special friend, Karla Pauley; her caregiver, Margaret Berry and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday March 23, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Minister Walter Dekle officiating. Burial will follow in the Tempa Baptist Church Cemetery.
