Nancy J. Browning, 65, died Tuesday evening March 28, 2006, at her home following a long illness.
Born July 9, 1940, in Autryville, N.C., she was the daughter of the Oliver C. and Mafalda Spell Taylor.
Nancy was a homemaker and a member of Hinton Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by a brother, O.C. Taylor, and a sister, Aydene Brock.
Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Gary B. Browning; a son, Michael Browning and wife, Melissa, of Covington, Va.; a daughter, Minnie Graham and husband, Brian, of Forest Hill; a brother, Elworth "Bass" Taylor and wife, Betty, of Autryville; five sisters, Thelma Strickland, Clister Hairr, Joann Winders and husband, Jim, and Wanda Howell and husband Walter, all of Fayetteville, N.C., and Elsie Child and husband, John, of Leeland, N.C.; and four grandchildren; Brittany Wykle, Kristen Rose, Kendall Scott Browning and Harley Graham.
