Born March 9, 1918, at Hinton, he was the son of the late Walter and Triphena Reed Breen.
Mr. Breen was a retired construction worker and member of the International Laborers Union. He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran serving in the European Theater. Earl enjoyed his fruit trees and chopping firewood. He was a member of the Hinton Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, and a brother, Pearl Breen.
He is survived by his wife, Delphia Gill Breen; one brother, Jack Breen of Crooksville, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, with Minister John McCain officiating. Burial will follow at the Breen Family Cemtery, Hinton.
