Discharged from Company I, 3rd Cavalry Regiment Massachusetts on 15 Jun 1865. Worked as a farm laborer upon his return to Randolph. In his later years he was admitted to the US National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Kennebec, Maine for medical treatment.
