25 Aug 1954: Mrs. Minnie M. Sonnon, nee Sechrist, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Warren Kercher, 1119 Church Street, of complications. She was eighty. She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical United Brethren Church, West Lebanon. She is survived by three sons and seven daughters: Walter, of Sheridan, Route 1; David, of Lebanon; Levi, of Lebanon Route 2; Mrs. Howard Fessler and Mrs. Charles Houtz, both of West Lebanon; Mrs. Warren Kercher, Miss Mary Sonnon, Mrs. Minnie Matthews, Mrs. Ammon Allwein and Mrs. Lester Miller, all of Lebanon. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. David Miller, of Allentown, and a brother, Morris Sechrist, of Lebanon. [Lebanon Daily News]
