We have had Kidders for thirteen of his eighteen years. He was a big cat, weighing as much as 27lbs but usually around 20 to 24lbs.,he really was beautiful and had an unusual personality. He never strayed from our backyard. He only went over the fence once. And when we found him he was cuddled up against the other side of our fence just waiting for us to rescue him...LOL. He spent most of his day in the house, only going outside on occasion. And he was always inside at night. All these years he had been healthy and happy. He loved to play with boxes and paper bags. We would laugh so hard at him. He was so much fun and he always slept on the bed at night, and there was barely room for him and people. He was really big when he stretched out...
He started to have trouble breathing so we decided to call a vet to look at him. Kidders stressed badly leaving the house for any reason,so we had a very caring vet that came out to our house, which made it easier for Kidders. The vet said his lungs were simply shutting down. So we had to put him to sleep. Thankfully right at home on our couch with us and where he was comfortable...
We were very blessed to have Kidders for so long... We miss you very much big guy...Thank you Lord...
