Jackie came to us after his previous owner (my mother's aunt) passed away in 2000. He was a very sweet cat. Everybody loved him.
He wasn't very fond of Pepper when she came to live with us. By then he was pretty old and not moving around as quickly as he used to, and she was just a kitten who wanted to play. She did manage to bring back some spunk in him though.
His last few weeks were rough on him. His kidneys had shut down on him and all he wanted to do was sleep. He passed away in his favorite spot underneath the armchair.
