George W. Barger, a well known carpenter and contractor residing at 1310 Bridge St., died at 6:45 o'clock this morning at the Blair County Hospital, of diseases incident to old age. He was 74 yrs.
He was a native of Woodland, Clearfield county, and had been a resident of this city for twenty years. His wife died many years ago. He is survived by three sons, Albert of Clearfield, Harry of Akron OH, Creighton of Altoona, and one brother, Charles of Woodland, and one sister, Mrs. Clara Hall of Dunnybrook, ND.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday, with services in the chapel at the hospital and interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. (Clearfield Paper's Copy)
