Died at 8.50 a.m. today, May 21, 1970, in Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted yesterday. He was born in Altoona Jan. 17, 1890, a son of Hiram and Elizabeth (Bougher) Edmiston, and married Jennie D. Kinkead.
Surviving are his wife, two children Paul R. of St. Paul, Minn. and Ruby May of Minneapolis, Minn, and eight grandchildren.
Mr. Edmiston was a member of the Pleasant Valley Full Gospel Church.
He retired from the Altoona water department, having served as caretaker at the Kittanning Point Reservoir area.
Friends will be received in the Gilden Barton Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
