MOTHER
You may own a million dollars,
But your, are the poorest in the land
if you don't have your beloved mom
to clasp your lonely hand.
Though her smile is gone forever
and her hand you cannot touch
still we have many memories
of our mom we loved so much.
This is our keepsake, with which
We'll never part;
God has her in his keeping-
We have her in are hearts.
So, You who have a mother
Cherish her with care
For you'll never know the heartache
'Til she's no longer there.'
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Looking back on Mom's life,
The days, the weeks, the years...
My eyes are blurred with memories
And clearly through the tears...
All it took to bring her joy
Was just a smile,
A flower for her garden,
Or hearing "Grandma" from a child,
All it took to make her laugh
Were the tree squirrels in her tree,
Squabbling with sparrows
And "Kate" on her heels.
All it took to make her happy
Was knowing that she could do
Something nice for someone else.
That's what made her feel good.
All it took to make her cry
Was seeing someone hurt.
Or if she was on the receiving end,
Of a genuine, kind word.
All it took to bring her peace
Was knowing that someday.
All her family's pain would cease.
All it took this winter day
To make the angels sing,
Was Heaven giving Mom
Her own set of beautiful wings.
All it took to ease our pain
Was hearing you, Mom
Calling our name.
We miss you so much already
The ride will be so lonely.
You'll be in our hearts Forever...
That is all we will take.

UNTIL THAT DAY
Until that day I'll think of you,
the love we shared, the memories too.
Until that day I'll think of you,
I'll try so hard in all I do.
Until that day I'll find out why,
you had to leave with no "goodbye".
Until that day this is so,
your family misses you, more than you'll know.
Until that day You'll be with him,
your God, your Savior, and new best friend.
Until that day I see you there,
you're in my heart, you're everywhere.
Until that day.

DEDICATED TO MY AUNT

Life is too short,
It's not enough,
but we must understand,
That if we live it in love and faith,
a road will be made,
For the day we pass away,
We can take it,
and wait at the end,
for those who once and always loved me,
I will meet.
Your beautiful eyes,
so big and round,
showed love,
showed laughter,
showed happiness,
showed sadness,
but we will remember you as the happy beautiful women you were,
The one who once cried for love,
The one that once laughed,
I love you my dear,
we will miss you,
but please wait,
we will meet once again,
In the kingdom of heaven,
where no pain we will feel.
