CALVIN B. WERTZ died yesterday morning at 3 o'clock at his home, 901 Fourth avenue this city, death being attributed to a complication of ailments incident to advanced age. He was a son of Jacob D. and Mary (Mountain) Wertz and was born in Frankstown on Jan 4, 1859. His wife* preceded him in death many years ago. Surviving are these brothers and sisters. Mrs. Samuel Taylor, Mrs. Bertha Miller and Boyd Wertz, all of Duncansville, Mrs. Eva Merritts of Revloc and Max Wertz and Mrs. Laura Stahl of Altoona. Friends will be received at the Bechtel funeral home in Williamsburg at any time before the funeral.
WERTZ--Funeral services for Calvin B. Wertz of 901 Fourth avenue, Altoona, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Bechtel funeral home in Williamsburg in charge of Rev. H.E. Bowman. Interment in the Carson Valley cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home.
