Catherine was born on October 20, 1931 in Cullman, Alabama. She married William Briley on August 4, 1951 in Iuka, Mississippi. In January of 1954 they moved to Flint, Michigan. William preceded Catherine in death. Catherine worked at AC for many years. She was a member of club QVC and enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandson.
Catherine broke her hip in April of 2014 and seemed to be recuperating pretty well considering she was 82 years old but sadly passed away in her sleep on July 6, 2014.
Surviving are: son, Michael (Janet) Briley of Clio and grandson, Anthony Briley of Clio. Catherine was preceded in death by husband, William Briley in 2011 and son, James Briley in 2013.
