Erin Maloney, 4 year-old twin daughter of Thomas Maloney of Worcester, died far too early in life, on October 27th, 2006, and entered into the arms of the Lord and her mother Lori J. (Paulin) Maloney, who passed away on August 1st of 2005.

Besides her father, Erin left her twin sister, Katelyn, who joined her in heaven on May 11, 2007; her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Deborah Maloney of Medford; her maternal grandparents, George and Judy (Rouillard) Paulin of Worcester; her cousin, Shannon Paulin; aunt and uncle, Chris and Kim Paulin of Worcester; her aunts, Jean Paulin of Worcester and Melissa Maloney of Medford and her uncle, Shaun Maloney of Medford. Erin was born on January 21st 2002 in Worcester. She was a pre schooler at Norrback Elementary School. Erin was considered a little princess, who presented herself as a little mother.

Erin's funeral was held Thursday, November 2nd from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in the Church of Saint George, 40 Brattle St. Interment followed in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, where she was laid to rest beside her mother.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, 181 Park Ave., suite 12, West Springfield, MA 01089.

God bless you, sweet princess, as you rest peacefully with your precious Mom and sister, watching over your loving family and friends who miss you and hold you so dear to their hearts.

I found Katelyn when I was researching my family and felt so bad, reading that she left this world so young. It troubled me that her precious mother and sister had both gone before her and wondered what happened. Was it a car accident? I had no idea. Then today, I decided to go to the cemetery to find 3 of my cousins. Lo and behold, the first graves I stumbled upon, were these precious twins and their dear mother. I KNEW God played a part in this and lead me to them, so I took pictures and came home. I set out to do some research as to what happened and the story that unfolded was heartbreaking. Here is the link to the story of their short lives, as it unfolded. I wanted to print it here, but thought it was something that you might like to read on your own and in its entirety.

Genetic illness unfolds trio of tragedy

God bless this loving family as they cope with the losses of these dear angels. I don't know how they've done it but I do know that If God can bring you to it, He will bring you through it. Tom and the rest of the family must have a strong faith in Him, which is definitely evident in the news article.

Please leave them all flowers. Thank you.
