NAMPA — Randy Jay Nelson, 3-day-old infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Nelson, 1706 Fourth St. S., died at a local hospital this morning.
Survivors, besides his parents, include his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Zesiger and Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Nelson, all of Nampa; and great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Smith, Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Nelson, Fish Haven, Idaho, Augustus Peterson, Nampa, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Zesiger, Nampa.
Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Bishop Arthur Norton of the Third Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will officiate. The cortege will leave the Alsip Chapel at 9:45 a.m.
