Elizabeth "Bessie" Kinkel , 98, of Arvada, passed away September 9, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold L. Petrie (1949) and Benton G. Kinkel (1963).
She is survived by her daughter Virginia Sherwood of Los Altos, CA; son Harold Petrie of Arvada; grandsons Kent Sigler of Summit County and Tom Petrie of Arvada; granddaughters Victoria Sigler of Miami, FL and Marilyn Mohl of Sugar Land, TX. She is also survived by three great-grandsons Billy and Danny Mohl of Sugar Land, TX and Zac Petrie of Arvada; and step-daughter Katie Young of Arvada.
Bessie was born April 12, 1904 in Denver and moved to Arvada in 1908. She retired from the National Bank of Arvada after 38 years of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Boulder Hospice, 2594 Trailridge Dr. East #A, Lafayette 80026 or to the charity of your choice. Graveside service, Friday 10 a.m., Crown Hill Cemetery.
