Doris Jean Turner, 46, of 2313 Grant Line Rd., died at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, February 2, at Floyd Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Thomas W. Turner, her mother, Henrietta Johnson of South Bend, Indiana, four sons by a previous marriage, Terry W., Jesse L., Timothy R. and William H. Elder all of New Albany, four grandchildren, a brother, William D. Milan Jr, a half brother, Melvin Johnson Jr. and a half sister, Brenda K. Rogers, both of South Bend. A memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Dieckmann Funeral Home. The body was cremated.
