SHELBY — Mr. Dustin Joe Frank Anthony, 101, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Hospice at Wendover.

A native of Lincoln County, Frank lived most of his life in Boiling Springs.

He was the last of 11 children of Joseph Robert and Maggie Black Anthony.

He worked as a carpenter, painter, mill hand and farmer.

Frank was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.

He was an avid collector and enjoyed yard sales and riding his four-wheeler.

He never retired.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lillie Martin Anthony; six brothers Austin, Claude, Sol, Charlie, Marvin and Bill; and four sisters, Myrtle Clary, Pearline Bridges, Mary Sue Hamrick and Elsie Martin.
