Mrs. Peter Dek Burial Held Here Tuesday
Funeral services were held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon from the Baumgarten Funeral Home for Mrs. Peter Dek, 84, of Long Beach, Calif., who died Friday morning. She was a former Sutherland resident.

The Rev. Warren A. Bintz, pastor of the Methodist church, was in charge of the services. Linda and Carol Cooper sang "In The Garden" and "I Walk With God." Mrs. Bernard Watterson was organist.

Pallbearers were E. D. Triplett, C. A. Jenner, Evan Weale; and Roger Youde. Burial was in Waterman cemetery beside her husband, who died in 1949.

Mrs. Dek had lived in Sutherland many years before the family moved to Platte, S. Dak., and for about the last 10 years she has lived in California. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church in Long Beach Sunday afternoon and the body was flown back as far as Omaha, arriving there early Monday morning.

Mrs. Dek is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edward Kramer of Long Beach, Calif., who came Monday to attend the funeral, also many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
