(Obituary of James' Wife: Abbie):
Mrs Abbie Martin died at the home of her daughter and son in law, Mr and Mrs Tom Waller, in the Freedom-Mt Hermon section, Sunday, at the age of 88 years, the last of her family. She leaves 5 children as follows: Mrs Jas B Martin and Mrs Tom Waller of Freedom, Mrs H.N. Smith of Beckton, Mrs Dock Waller of Nebraska, and Mrs Will Martin of Iowa. Mrs Reed Kilgore of this place is her grand- daughter. Mrs Martin was the widow of the late Mr Jim Martin, and was a devout member of the Christian church. She was born and reared in the section in which she died, and was a lady of the highest character. Interrment was in Bethlehem Cemetery, Monday.
