Saint and Martyr. He was born in Tarsus of Cilicia in 5 AD. He is know as the Apostle to the Gentiles. According to the biblical narrative, he converted to Christianity after he had a blinding vision, and having heard the Voice of Jesus. Some contemporary historians have him identified as the true founder of Christianity since with his words and his writings, he operated the first and fundamental inculturation of the Gospel in history. He was beheaded during the Christian persecution of Emperor Nero in 67 AD.
