Architect. He was the son of Dow Chemical founder, Herbert Dow. He was an architect based in Midland, Michigan, and was renowned for his contributions after studying under Frank Lloyd Wright. Dow loved to put his personal touch on architecture saying "Architecture is more than the front face of the building" In 1941, Dow was tasked with building a chemical refinery in Freeport, Texas. Dow would go on to design the Texas city of Lake Jackson which would house the company's 5,000 employees.
