Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, Mary Elizabeth Grossman died on Thursday, September 28, 2006, from complications of a stroke.
Mary was born in Middleton, OH, February 26, 1915.
After graduating high school, she moved to Columbus, OH, where she worked at Motorists Mutual Insurance Company, where she met the love of her life, John Grossman.
Upon his return from WWII, they married November 1945.
In 1952, they moved to Southern California and lived for 47 years. Later moved to Richland, WA, to be closer to family.
Mary's interests were in her family, traveling, playing the piano and writing letters to the many friends she acquired through the years. One of her favorite activities was dancing with John to the Big Band Era music.
Mary is survived by husband, John of 61 years, daughter, Gay Fitzgibbon (Davis), Richland, WA; granddaughter, Beverly Paddock (Randy), Sharilin, WA; two nieces, Beverly Franko and Susan Barker.
There will be no formal services.
