Joyce was married three times. The first before she was 18 tears of age. Her parents were unhappy that she married. They did not approve of the young man and had the marriage annulled. She then married Ivan Wildrick and had 6 children. Al, Diane and Darlene and twin boys and a son named Allan Wildrick that died prematurely. Joyce and Ivan divorced around the 1960's.
She then raised her children on her own and cared for her parents in their later years until their passing. She married her third husband Harold F. Griffin in November 1986.
