Mrs. Kurgan was a life resident of Syracuse.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; three daughters, Cynthia Abbott of Syracuse, Janet Hayduke of Syracuse and Karen Peck of Syracuse; her brother Stanley Magdziuk of California; her sister, Jane DeJohn of Solvay; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
