Deceased Name: WALTER V. KURGAN

Walter Vincent Kurgan, 80, of 7737 Gates Road, Manlius, died Monday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Syracuse, Mr. Kurgan was a life resident of the LaFayette-Manlius area. He was a graduate of LaFayette High School.

He was a communicant of St. Ann's Church, Manlius, where he served as an usher. He also was a member of the Manlius Rod and Gun Club.

Surviving are his wife, Eleanor Irene; two daughters, Patricia Kurgan Pulver of Chittenango and Michelle Margaret Kurgan of Manlius; a son, W. Michael of Chesapeake, Va.; three brothers, William of LaFayette, Stanley of LaFayette and Michael of Syracuse; two sisters, Anne Kurgan of LaFayette and Jenny Grabowski of Syracuse; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann's Church, Manlius. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Newell-Fay Funeral Home Inc., 403 Pleasant St., Manlius.
