m Heinrich Friedrich Tholen Mrs. Hannah Harmina Tholen passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 1928 at 9:30 p.m. at her home northwest of Chapin. Her death was due to heart disease. She was the eldest daughter of Dietrich and Anna Dieckhoff Ommen. She was born near Meredosia, March 24, 1856. She was married Jan. 4, 1877 to Henry F. Tholen. This union was blessed with three sons and one daughter, who survive. They are William of Winchester, Edward of Bluffs, George on the homestead and Lydia at home.

She is also survived by three step-sons, John of Webster, N.Y., Fred of Barry and Herman of Meredosia; also 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. "Edith Fishel" Mr. Tholen passed away Jan. 26, 1905. She also leaves to mourn her passing four brothers and five sisters; Herman Ommen, Bluffs; John Ommen, Diller, Neb; Henry Ommen, Butler, Okla.; Mrs. Katherine Botterbusch, Bluffs; Mrs. Mary Willem, Diller, Neb.; Mrs. Emma Kalthoff, Alma, Mo.; Mrs. Sophia Rolfs, Diller, Neb.; Mrs. Tillie Leathers, Ponca City, Okla.

Mrs. Tholen was a life-long member of the Lutheran church having been baptized in infancy and confirmed at an early age.
