Nancy Lewellyn Rominger was the fifth of six known children of David Edward Rominger (1819-1880) and Phebe Steward/ Stewart Rominger (1813-1918), who married 17 Dec 1844 at Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina.

Nancy married Louis A. Brewer (1859-1908) on 22 May 1882 at Forsyth County, North Carolina. Nancy and Louis were the parents of seven known children, namely:

1. Lula Anna Brewer (1881-1914)
2. Sarah Brewer Reece (???-???)
3. Nathaniel Brewer (???-???)
4. Albert Eugene Brewer (1885-1910)
5. Robert Brewer (1888-1889)
6. Rosa H. Brewer (1889-1889)
7. Harry Lee Brewer (1899-1960)
